Our lucky Paris competition winner

Our Win a Trip to Paris competition was hugely popular with over 14,000 people entering. There could only be one lucky winner though and that was Dijana with her fabulous entry:

"Upon reflection, a chic collection; C'est magnifique, cut to perfection. Sussan's styles so fittingly unique; From runways to my wardrobe, my favourite boutique"

A very creative response, we're sure you'll agree. We spoke to Dijana about her exciting win and her upcoming trip to Paris.

How long did it take you to write your answer?
It probably only took me about 30 minutes to come up with the answer but I sat on it and refined it for a week or so. I tried to be creative but at the same time appreciate what I have seen in-store for the collection. First, I came up with rhyme words for collection, mixing it with France and what I would expect from its styles, and finally how I see Sussan to me personally.

Where were you when you found out you won? And who was the first person you told?
I was at the movies with my children during the school holidays. I noticed the missed call on my phone, listened to the voicemail and nearly screamed the theatre down before running out and immediately calling my husband to tell him the incredible news...and the romance he was about to experience.

Have you been to Paris before?
No, I've never been to Paris but have researched its culture, style and history since I was a child.

What are you most excited about seeing or doing in Paris?
Probably something as simple as eating a traditional French croissant (that tastes so home made and natural), sipping my latte at a local cafe while watching a stylish French woman walking her poodle along the Champs Elysees.

Who are you taking with you on the trip?
Definitely my husband and hopefully we can take the kids along too so they can experience the beauty of Paris with some Disneyland Paris dreaming while hubby and I can taste and smell the romance of Paris on this lifetime adventure.
