Wash Gently
Always check the care label on your LENZING™ ECOVERO™ clothing for specific instructions, as different items may have unique care requirements. To extend the lifespan of your garments and prevent shrinking, steer clear of hot water, as it can harm the fibres and contribute to colour fading. We usually recommend handwashing in cold or lukewarm water or machine wash in a garment bag in a 30 degrees gentle cycle with mild detergent. Don’t forget to turn the garment inside out, wash with like colours, and avoid using bleach or fabric softeners. When washing LENZING™ ECOVERO™, you should also avoid overcrowding the washing machine, as it can cause friction and potential damage to the fabric. Refrain from washing LENZING™ ECOVERO™ garments with towels too, to maintain their integrity. For stain removal, treat stains promptly using a gentle stain remover or a mixture of mild soap and water. Blot stains gently instead of rubbing to prevent damage to the fabric.
Dry naturally
For optimal care, avoid wringing or crushing after washing. Always air-dry your LENZING™ ECOVERO™ clothes by gently returning to their original shape and laying them flat on a clean, dry towel. As LENZING™ ECOVERO™ can contract during washing due to fibres swelling when wet. It is important to return to its original shape while wet and then iron if necessary to achieve as new appearance. For heavier garments, gently shape them to their original form to prevent wrinkles. When air-drying lighter items, hang them for the best results, but use padded hangers to avoid stretching. This ensures your LENZING™ ECOVERO™ clothes retain their shape and integrity.
Iron carefully
If ironing is necessary, use a low to medium heat setting. To protect the fabric, place a thin cloth between the iron and the garment. A garment steamer is also a great way to maintain your LENZING™ ECOVERO™ pristine quality.
Store smartly
Store LENZING™ ECOVERO™ clothing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If items hang for an extended period, use a padded hanger to maintain their shape or fold them neatly to avoid unwanted stretching.
