Suzy Eskander has dressed more women then we can count. So when it comes to getting ready, she knows her way around a wardrobe. Here, the stylist shares her quick style tricks and favourite winter pieces.
Q. You have ten minutes to get ready, what’s your go-to outfit?
Denim all the way! With ten minutes to get dressed I would go straight to denim. I’d grab my denim jeans or skirt, a denim shirt and pair with some white or bold colour trainers. I’m all about comfort and style and denim is so easy to wear and looks great all year round. If you do “double denim” don’t be afraid to mix different shades together.
Q. As a fashion stylist, you know your way around a wardrobe. What key pieces does every woman need?
Every woman needs a good fitting pair of denim jeans, white shirt or white tee, a fine woollen knit, and some fun earrings to make a statement.
Q. How do you layer stylishly in winter? When you want to be warm but want to avoid looking bulky?
Opt for opaque stockings, wear thin knits, and keep warm with scarves. Keeping warm in winter is all about layering, if you layer correctly with thin knits and jackets you can take off each layer if you get too warm and put on another when it gets colder.
Q. What’s the one winter piece you want to get your hands on?
A new knitted grey scarf for the cold winter months ahead.
